Very friendly, and welcoming for the interview. No point to come early because you will wait anyway. Leah came a bit early, and waited for an hour.

The first step is that you meet a representative and going over the documents that they already have, and the documents that you have brought with you (we brought a pack of supporting information as well as a recent tax return) -- *originals* of everything. This stage is important if you want to submit additional documents that they don't have yet.

The actual interview was short. They were mostly interested in how we met, how many meetings we had before getting married, etc. Interpreters are available if you need it. Everything went pretty smoothly -- the officer was courteous -- but Leah needed to submit a few additional documents, which we did, delivering them by hand since Israli post has become a bit unreliable (we actually tried them and they failed to deliver, instead delivering a pick-up notice!)

It's useful to know that there is a link available where you can check the status afterwards: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.asp
