Review Topic: K1 Visa

I had my appointment at 11:30. I got there 11:15 and they let me in, went through security, took my phone, etc.. I was a little nervous and I forgot my jacket that I got later when a woman came into the room asking for its owner.. haha. When I was inside everything went very smoothly. After 15 minutes I was called to give the proof of payment, my medical, passport, etc, to a Spanish very nice lady. She explained me that when I got the visa it'd be stappled to a brown envelope that I wouldn't be able to open because I'd have to give it to the officer at the POE in the US. Then she told me to sit again and wait until the consular office called me. After 20/25 minutes the consular officer called me to the window and took my oath and fingerprints. Then he started asking me in Spanish, but I felt more comfortable speaking English, so I started speaking in English. He continued in English after that. He asked me some questions like: How did you meet your fiancée? What does she do for a job? Do you know her family? What do they do? Where are they from? Where is she now? Have any of you guys been married before? I answered all these questions easily and then he told me "Congratulations, your visa has been approved and you'll receive it in 4 to 6 working days. The "interview" took around 4-5 minutes. All this happened on March 8 and I got my visa on March 16. javascript:emoticon('')
