I had my interview at 8:45 am on January 4th, 2017.
I tend to show up earlier for my appointments, on this day I was there at 7:30 A.M.
I thought I was going to be there all by myself for a while, but when I got there, there was around 10 people already lined up.
Even though the U.S. Embassy does not open until 8:30 am, they start letting people in.

Make sure you don't bring any bags to carry your paper work. Bags are not allowed.
I had to run all the way to Eaton Center (Mall) to put my bag on a locker.
By the time I came back I lost around 12 turns.

Once in there, they check your appointment letter and passport and they assign you a number.
Then you are screened by the security personnel and they keep your cellphone. They give you a ticket that you need to use to get it back once you are done.
Once you clear the screening process, you need to go to the 19th floor.
Make sure you get your number on the main level. Otherwise, you have to go downstairs again and get it. It happened to me and I lost a couple of turns as well on that one. javascript:emoticon('')

Then, they will call your number and you have to go to a window, where they will ask for all the documents.
Make sure you bring original copies for Police Records and Birth Certificates. I did not have mine and it wasn't a big issue, but they did request the originals.

Once you present all your documents, you have to take a sit again and then you will be called to a second window where the interview will take place. My interview was nice and simple. Just a couple of questions about your fiancé, how did you guys meet? etc... etc...

If they approve your VISA, they will keep your passport and you'll receive a "Welcome to the United States' letter".
Then it will take about 10 days for you to get your passport at your registered pick up location.
They will also mail a sealed package that cannot be opened. Whenever you move to USA, you hand in that sealed package to the immigration officer. He will review them and approve your entry to the U.S.A as a Fiance Visa holder.

**If you are travelling from Toronto, you will have to do the U.S. immigration in Toronto. I was thinking that I would do it once I arrived in Atlanta. But no, immigration is done in Toronto. So plan accordingly. Fortunate enough I was there 3 hours before my flight.
