Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiancee arrived at the embassy around 7:20 and when she arrived everyone had already lined up. She was the last person on the line. Last we spoke, she confirmed if our case was immigrant or nonimmigrant visa to determine which line to stand it. She was the last person to enter the embassy and submitted her appointment letter at entrance. She actually did a lot of waiting because she was the last on the list. Upon waiting over 2 and a half hours, she was called up to submit her documents to a Ghanaian lady. She had organized everything into a file, but they asked her to take them out and they returned some documents to her. Evidence of financial support was all returned to her along with some extra photocopies she had in there. The lady confirmed with her if thats all the documents she had to submit and she replied yes. She went to sit back down. At this point, she was one of the few people left inside the embassy to be interviewed. She actually stated that she started falling asleep because she was waiting for so long. At long last, the moment had come, her name was called to come up for the interview. She was interviewed by a young white man, she approximates his age to be in his mid 30s. She took the oath and her fingerprints were scanned.

THANKS BE TO GOD, he only asked her 2 questions.

1. Are you aware of the requirements of the K1 visa when you arrive in the US?
2. What are your plans when you arrive in the US?

As we all know the intended purpose of the K1 visa, it'll be quite silly to have any other response to this question other than to be with fiancee/fiancee and get married. She did note that be tried to be tricky with the second question because she had already answered it in question 1. She stood her ground and gave him the same answer with more details. That was that and he looked at her and said YOUR VISA HAS BEEN GRANTED!!!!!

Meanwhile I'm here in the US with a self induced diarrhea because of my nerves HAHAHAHAHA. She texted me with the results and instantly i was relieved. We just give all glory to God for bringing this part of the process to a successful end.

The best advice I can give is to be genuine. If the relationship is genuine, the information and evidence provided will speak for you. We had been expecting the CO to ask her questions regarding how we met and all that, but he never did. My fiancee had a very detailed album with sticky notes describing each photo. We included many screenshots from beginning of our relationship till now. We mostly chat using iMessage and sometimes WhatsApp when iMessage isn't working. We basically grew up together since we attended the same school, so we had enough pics with our friends and her parents and siblings. It is well, just trust in your relationship and this process can be very easy.

I wish all those are waiting for their interview, the same fate as my fiancee and I. The anointing of short questions be your portion. IT IS DONE FOR YOU> AMEN.
