our appointment was at 930am we arrived at 9am to be nice and early. We sat in the waiting area until just after 10am when we were called back. Once we were taken back we were sworn in asked some basic questions about our daughter when we got married then said shes was satisfied about our marriage then basically asked me (the applicant) everything on the I-485 like parents name? where were they born? there date of birth? where do they currently reside? my date of birth? where was i born? when is my husbands birthday? whats his parents names? where was my husband born? literally everything on the I-485 she asked me then she moved down to yes no questions. After that was all done and all my answered matched the officer gave us a recommended for approval. exactly 1 week later i received my green card in the mail. Overall it just seemed like a very relaxed general chat. Other than asking about our daughter and our wedding the rest of the question were for me only so for the most part my husband sat there in silence
