VisaJourney Family, my wife(Canadian) had her interview on 10/28/16 @ 9:30 am. We were in Montreal a week ahead, for medical and mini vacation. We stayed at L'Apartment Hotel. Very nice and reasonably priced, plus it was a two minutes walk to Medical-medisys.And 8-10 minutes to consulate. Many people have made the comment before here, but just for good measure..There was a new increase in fees for testing-Small, but new and we were not told until we got to window at Medisys. So be prepared Process there very easy and organized, people friendly too. Got results back on Wednesday AM and had appointment next day.Nevertheless,we got to the consulate at 7:15 am next day and there were two people ahead of us already. Note-"It is a first come, first served system". Within 15 minutes more we had a line behind us of about 10 people.Of course the weather was cold, but no rain, just cold and both myself and wife were dressed seasonably warm.
At 7:30 sharp a french speaking gentleman came out and gave instructions on what was needed to enter the building.
Surprisingly he never said no back-packs.However shortly thereafter as people continued to inch to the door the guard saw and made the announcement about No backpacks. Told you where you can leave it too.
We got into the building and were checked in by lady with ipad at door entrance, And got to screener machines next. We got number 2 on the plastic card and was told to listen for that number at windows on the 19th floor. We then went down stairs and got to elevators then began to organise papers.
15 mins later, we were let on to elevators, and told to go to 19th floor.
Got to 19th floor and was told where to sit. Yep speakers in building are not the best. So pay attention to announcements. I recommend you take all paperwork you can bring, both what they ask for and whatever you think you can show as proof.
Inview was simple, but nerve reckoning. They asked my wife about her address both in Canada and US; Her petitioner's name and telephone. How we met? How long we are married, all at the first window. Then they collected the paperwork they needed. The waiting time was quick, for she were called up to first window at 8:15am. And the second window at 8:45am. We were out of there by 9:40am.Before leaving we called the courier services from within the office-phones in waiting area, and locked in our delivery address for passport return info.
Very good experience wife is due in US on 11/13. WE got the passport with visa and other documents as promised within 4-5 business days.
My advice to anyone going to the process, review the information from this website for it helps you understand the process and keeps you alert on the day in question.

Thank you..
Best of luck.
