My I-129F was transferred from California to another USCISC office, and I wasn't getting any answers over the phone so I scheduled an appointment through Infopass to speak to them in person. Checkin was relatively quick and painless, sat there for about 15 to 20 minutes before the USCIS officer called me to the window. My whole point for going there in person was to ask some questions and get some honest answers. Initially, he was a little rude and touchy, but then he relaxed a bit and answered my questions really well and gave me some really good information and details on how they operate. He then gave me some good encouragement and said that all my stuff looked good and I should hear something soon, probably within a few weeks. I really didn't get the answer to my initial question on why my application was transferred again, but he insists that it is still at California and still pending and there were no problems at all with it. All in all, i'm glad I went and they were alright.
