I had a 12:00 appointment and arrived at 11:00. There was no queue and I was allowed to pass straight through to security. Afterwards I followed the signs and was given my appointment number and told to sit and wait.
I was called up after about 30 minutes and was asked to hand over my passport, birth certificate, police certificate, affidavit of support (plus evidence) and my appointment letter. He also took my finger prints.
The man was very pleasant. Made me aware of when the K1 would expire and then gave me disc with my x-ray scan and told me to wait to be called.
30 minutes later I was called to a different window where I was met by an American. He had me scan my finger prints again and swear the Oath of Honesty.
It was a very natural conversation. He asked how we met and about our visits over the years and how my family reacted to the age difference. After looking through some of our photos together he just tapped away at his computer for a few seconds and then told me I was approved and should expect my visa to be ready for collection in 7-14 days.
