Review Topic: K1 Visa

Scheduled at 7:30, was done by 8:30. Process was swift and smooth. Filipino employees checking for documents and instructing the queues were a lot more rude than the CO behind windows. I don't get their attitude. They shout when giving instructions even if you're less than 1 feet away.

Anyway, this is what happened earlier:

1: Was outside the embassy at 6:50. Fall in line outside at line 5, as instructed.
2: Security check. I threw away my USBs in the trash lol I forgot to remove them in my bag
3: Immigrant window. Filipino lady behind will put the passport in a plastic zip lock. She stapled a queue number and instructed me to proceed to Door 2 and drop my Appointment Confirmation in Window 38.
4: American officer asked for my NVC letter. There was a sample letter in the window. He instructed the girl before me to have hers printed outside first.
5: Fingerprint scanning
6: Was instructed to proceed to Step B. Filipino man behind the window asked for my Birth Certificate, Cenomar and NBI Clearance. He asked for photos of my fiancé and I, I handed out 150-pages worth of pictures lol. He was typing everything down in his computer. I saw the original petition package in a PINK folder.
7: Oath taking. Very pleasant and good looking American officer. hihi.
8: Interview. Very warm American consul.
Questions asked:
CO: What is your name?
CO: Who filed for your petition?
CO: Where was your fiancé born?
CO: How did you meet him?
CO: What is he doing in America? Which company is he working for?
CO: He visited you A LOT of times in the last 5 years, he seems to like you a lot! (Blush)
CO: You wanted to visit your fiancé last year but you were denied a tourist visa, on what grounds?
Me: The nice officer told me that I have insufficient ties in the Philippines, Sir.
CO: Well, you can go visit your previos CO and tell him that you are going to America because you have been just approved. Wait for your visa in 10 days.

He gave me the IMBRA pamphlet. I said thanks. I prayed and thanked God.

PS: MEMORIZE your fiancé's full name, address and work in the US. Also, if you and your fiancé have been married before or if you have kids. Those will be asked in every window. And yeah, they did not ask for affidavit of support.
