Review Topic: General Review
I had my interview in Seoul US EMBASSY last January 2016
My interview time was 8 am and I got there at 7:30. Before you enter the embassy they will ask you to leave all the electronics at the gate and they will give you a claim stub that you have to surrender once your business is done inside the embassy to get all your electronics back. Everything went smooth and everything is really fast and efficient.
First they will review the documents you brought and the Korean lady will give back any unnecessary documents that they don't need. After that they ask you to get seated and wait for your next interview. Everything went well Except for the African American lady who came in with her fiancé that took so much time dealing with the consul. The consul already said that they need some more documents but the lady is insisting the documents that she has and wanted the approval right away. That day only two windows are open so it's kind of delay for me cause I was next in line to her. After her then it's my turn, I thought the consul was in a bad mood because he had a serious time dealing with the lady. But anyway. He's really nice. He's a Korean-American consul. He ask me to take an oath and after that he checked the documents that he has in hand and even typing some sort of info in the computer. He just asked me few questions like.
1.) how long have I been living to Korea
2.) how long have you known each other
3.) how do I met my fiancé and who propose to who
4.) did I got arrested from any of my previous in the US.
After that he congratulated me and he said my visa was approved. He told me to wait atleast a week to get my visa. But actually the courier in Seoul delivered it to me after two days.
