I USC went with Brazilian wife for interview at RDJ. After being shown where to sit. We met the Famous Alex who scolded us about listening to his instruction on filling out interview cards.. actually the Brazilians who went to interview took it as a scolding I took it as a man who probably had to make this speech a million times and people still asked the same questions. Anyway after we filled out the cards Alex called us one by one to make sure all was in order and at that point we met the nice pleasant helpful Alex. He got our documents in order. Assuring us to not be nervous and what to do next. After that we sat in order and was called to the window to submit our original documents. Originals were returned copies were kept and put into a file folder. We were then instructed to return to our seat and wait to be called for interview. We met and spoke to others in the room and one by one we were called. All five before us entered nervous and came out smiling and with tears in their eyes.We felt positive. When called we went up. My wife was sworn in. She was asked how we met. And then I was asked how many times I have visited her. In the End CO smiled and said we were approved. Though there was alot of people. The staff especially Alex were very helpful and efficient. They had us moving along. In the end I was right Alex was a very nice young man as others in this site have said. He was only putting his foot down so that we understood the importance of following directions. We went around the corner and paid Sedex then returned receipt to Alex. That was on Friday July 1st. It is now July 5th CEAC states Visa was issued. All in all this was the quickest and easiest part of our journey.
