Hi! We just got approved last June 27 and I just want to share our k1 interview experience  it was pretty nice, smooth and quick process. My fiancé and I were a little anxious at the beginning and was scared about it because we thought it will be difficult, but there was really nothing much to worry. The people at the embassy was okay, nice and considerate.. I won't go much into details on the steps, but I'll say some of the interview questions I encountered.
My fiancé and I met on Facebook thru a common friend, and I didn't expect that it will be my interviewer's first questions.. he first asked who's that common friend, then I said she's my schoolmate, then I thought he's done questioning about it, but he followed up with, how did your fiancé and your friend met? Then I kinda stuttered, I said, online as well, also social networking site, he asked, is it dating site? I said, no. Also on Facebook, because my fiancés ex and my schoolmate were friends before, they worked on same place. Finally that convinced the consul and said I seeand moved on to his next questions..
Then next things the consul asked were about our vacation when my fiance and I spent time together, what were the things we did, and where did we go, if he met my parents and what did they say about him, and when did we get engaged.
I answered everything well, then after few seconds he was handing me the pamphlet and the piece of paper for visa address for delivery and saying they will deliver the visa within 7-10 business days
What's good thing about my interview is that the consul didn't ask for any papers that I took with me, I actually prepared a whole lot of proofs, like hundreds of pics, all kinds of logs, gift receipts, hotel and plane tickets, and others. Idk if it's a good thing or what, cause I kinda wanted him to take a look on what I did,but he never even cared to look at it,I guess my fiance did a great job already in our petition docs
I was so happy I couldn't wait to tell my fiancé about our good news!
So for other k1 applicants out there, just be confident, it's really easy and a fun experience
