I attended with my husband. First Egyptian woman took original copies of his papers, passport and pics. I looked at our file in front of her and saw a stamp with large word saying APPROVED. After 30 minutes we were called into another room where a young serious America woman asked us questions. How did you meet? How many times had I traveled to Egypt? What did I do for a living and what did my husband do for a living? Did my family attend our wedding and why? Then she asked me if she could speak to my husband alone and I went back to the waiting room. She asked him what he didn't like about me. Who I was the closest to in his family and had he been married before. My husband and I are both on our 40s and he has never been married and maybe she didn't believe this coz she told him everything was good but she needed him to send her a family report before she will issue his visa. We have now and it states I am his only wife and there were no others and will send by aramex. She has his passport but our status is administrative processing on the government website.
