here is a summary of things that went on with my case until approval. I'm a CR1 with CC: Dec 1st 2015 and interview date May 22,2016
Things my wife had before going to the interview:
1)Her Passport and 2 copies of it
2)passport Pics (5x5) she took 10 of them
3)my US citizen passport copies of all pages
4)2013,2014,2015 income tax
5)medical exam envelope sealed
6) 30 pictures of our wedding and honey moon
7)Original Marriage certificate and 2 copies of it with translations
8)Original birth certificate and 2 copies of it with translations
9)Original Finger Print report and 2 copies of it with translations
10) Aramex paper
11) Packet 4 interview appointment letter
she got to the consulate at 7 am and her appointment was at 7:30 and noticed a huge line. Security came around at 7:30 and ensured that everyone had the correct papers on them(Many people were kicked out of the line to retake their passport picture as it was not good or because it had photoshop done to it). She was then given a number and went inside at around 8 ish Am. When she got inside, her number was called after a little and as you may have already heard from other people, the Egyptian staff there are very rude. I already had prepared her for that, so it was no surprise to her. The lady asked her for the following:
1)Her original marriage certificate
2)her original birth certificate
3) my latest 2015 income tax
4)2 passport photos (5x5) and when she saw that one was bent a little, with attitude she through it back to her. Thankfully my wife had a lot more and she gave her another one
5)Her medical exam sealed envelope
6)Copy of my US citizen passport
she then was asked a few questions by the girl as if she was the one interviewing her, but my wife answered them regardless and then my wife was told to sit and wait for her number to be called again for the interview
Interview was rather quick (1 to 2 minutes)
she asked my wife 5 questions
1)How did you meet your husband?
2)When was the last time he visited you?
3)How did he immigrate to the U.S?
4)what day did you first meet on ?
5)where does he work?
6)What city does he live in?
At the end she told my wife Mabrook and she handed her a paper saying congratulations you are approved.
Case Status was Ready then AP then Issued within exactly 1 day of her interview.
