So my interview was scheduled for 10:30am. I got there around 9:45, and the lady at the front checked my interview letter, gave me a number (which is your number for the rest of the time there), then I went to security. They have little bins that they out your phone into, and give you a ticket to collect it when you're done. Security was quick, and then went on the elevator up to the 19th floor.

Once on the 19th floor, you go into the middle section for immigrant visas. I waited until around 10:15-10:20 until I was called to the first window for fingerprints and to have over the documents. Oddly enough, they only wanted the 2014 tax info (I also had 2012-2013). While I gave them the tax transcript for 2014, they also wanted the W2.

Then it was back sitting down for another 15 minutes or so before getting called up to the interview. I had the same guy many people have referenced - younger, brown hair, glasses. He was really nice, and after I gave my finger prints again after doing the oath, joked that my finger prints are really clear and if I commit a crime I'm getting caught for sure. Lol. He commented that our file was huuuuge and we had way more than we needed (better safe than sorry lol). Asked how I met my wife, what she does for work, asked how often we saw each other, how I knew the joint sponsor, and that was pretty much it.

One note: our joint sponsor is married and they filed taxes as MFJ. We decided to have her husband do an I864A just in case(even though joint sponsor income was enough). While I've read on the forums that the I864A is a good idea, but not required, the CO explained that it was actually required.

He gave me the fantastic welcome to the USA letter and explained I should have my passport back in a couple weeks.

If you get this guy - he's good. I think he definitely understands the stressful process this is and definitely tries to put you at ease.
