Everything went very smoothly on the day of the interview. My fiancé was there for support just in case (so glad he was, because I had forgotten the original Letter of Intent to Marry in the photocopier at home, and so they just had him sign the copy to turn it into the original).
The interview questions were mainly about my fiancé, his job, and making sure we actually are a couple and that we've actually met in person.
When the interview was over and I was approved, I'm pretty sure I was also told I'd be getting my passport back in about 72 HOURS. I waited 2 MONTHS!! Everyday I wondered whether I heard right, and why it was taking so long. It's impossible to get any clear answers whether you try calling or by email, so I thought that was pretty frustrating. Anyway I'm glad to have my visa issued. I understand it's case by case, but I just wished processing wasn't so inconsistent: after they tell you it's approved, why do some people wait 5 days and others 2 months?
