My husband and I were super nervous for this interview at the Vancouver Consulate. We got there pretty early and there was already a line. The wait took a while to get inside the building so dress warmly! It was all directed fairly well once inside. They directed us upstairs in a small group of about 6 into a waiting room. From there, once they had your information, you had to wait to be interviewed. I thought it was going to be a small room with a desk, but it was just a standing window with short privacy walls and a glass barrier between the interviewer and myself. The lady was very nice and seemed to like the story of how my husband and myself met! She typed a few things, asked only the basic questions like how we met and suggested wedding date after the visa is approved. After that, she gave me the 'approved'! smile and took my passport to have it sent back to me in a few days with my visa inside.

All an easy experience at Vancouver. My passport took about 7 business days to arrive in the mail, so don't expect it within a few days. Mine took just under two weeks (agony).
