My Fiancee arrived at 6:30am for a 7:30am appt. and it was very crowded already. She had all the required paperwork and a little extra proof of ongoing relationship. I don't know all of the details of each window, but the usual DS-160 and appoitment confirmation, fingerprinting twice, swear in, and then she had a woman CO. Lots of questions about me(Petitioner) date of birth? My Address? When did I divorce? How many times was I married before (once)? My Marital status now? How many children do I have(4)? How many of them live with me(none)? What is my job? How often do we communicate? How many times did I visit? When did I visit? How long did I stay? Where did we go? What did we do? How did we meet? Wanted to see pictures of my visit? Then she approved the Visa!!
I hear a lot of people say they were only asked one question, not the case for us, sounded like a pretty thorough investigation. I give my Fiancee all the credit, she had all the back-up info and new the answer to every question. She scheduled the CFO for Jan. 5th, first available this time of year. I would suggest scheduling the CFO early because your visa is not required to attend the class and you can come back after you have your visa to get the sticker or certificate whatever it is(still learning).
My Fiancee said it was a lot of waiting and she was tired, but a good experience. Thank goodness its over and we are on our way. I hope this helps somebody out there, that's what we are here for.
