Both me (USC) and her (Fiance) attended the interview.
We got there quite a bit early and where still not the first ones. Appointment time was for 0800 and we arrived at about 0645. After the long wait for the embassy to start taking in people, we were the very first in-line when they separated the lines between immigrant and non immigrant. We were astonished to find that we were not on any list to enter for that day, even though we had the interview letter and all proper paperwork. Throughout the wait they continuously told us that we would be front loaded when they found our paperwork since we were the very first people for 0800 appointments. After a long hour+ wait and now being at the very back of any line that had formed, they finally found our names and allowed us to enter, at the very back of the everyone else.
We then waited for a bout 20 min to get our names called to enter and turn in our paperwork before the actual interview. The woman we went to was not nice or mean; kind of just "stern." The only papers that she asked for was:
Both birth certificates; police certificate for her; I-134; Pay stubs (I have only non-taxable income)
After that, she sent us back out into the waiting area; waited about 20 more minutes and were called again for our interview.
The next woman was very nice and cheerful. She asked how we were and then we started:
What do you (USC) do for work? How long? and then sent me out to the waiting area to interview my fiance separately. She asked her: How we met (five different times throughout)? How do you know he is the one? *Pictures of the two of us and family* When did he come visit you? Do you know anyone in his family? Have you ever talked to them? When did he propose? How does he treat you? When/Where are you getting married? Do you have family in the U.S? Have you ever been there before? Does your family like him (USC)?
All were answered and then we got approved and were able to leave. Went back the next week to get the actual visa with no problems.
