It's all written well before about the interview process.
You enter the embassy, and wait for your number to be called in to give documents:
Birth cerificate of the applicant
Marriage certificate
Police paper( be sure it's recent)
Petitioner previous divorces certificates
Copy of the passport
260 confirmation page
Receipts that we paid all fees

After that you sit down and waiting begins! It's really hard to stay calm and relaxed, but embassy is very comfortable . Bring light jacket with you , and lady please no heels!!
Our interview was at 7 am and we got called in about 11 am to the window 24.
Our co was American gentlemen in mid 40 th, very pleasant to us
After we raised our right hand and told we are going to tell only the truth, the questions began:
He started to talk to my husband in English, my hubby told him he knows English but prefers
Spanish
CO to my husband: what is your name?
CO to me: what is your name?
CO to my husband: how did you meet? where?
CO to me: the same question
CO yo my husband: does your wife has a child? How old?his name? Where does he live?
( I have 27 y.o. Son)
CO to me: when you met your husband? Was it your first trip to DR?
( it was not my second trip to DR)
CO to me: when was your first trip to DR? ( I didn't remember!!!)
CO to me: can I see your passport?
( I had trips every 2 month since we met, and he was pleasantly surprised )
CO to my husband : where do your wife work? What does she do?
CO : can I see your pictures?
( we had photo album from wedding and regular pictures
He asked me why your son didn't go to the wedding?
Me: he lost his passport
CO pointed on one of the pictures and asked me: who is this person?
It was my mother.
CO to my husband: did you read the pamphlet about the domestic violence ? What was in this pamphlet? ( he answered)
CO to my husband: did you travel anywhere before? When? How many days?
CO to my husband: did you ever had any problems with police?
Then he was typing something in a computer and told us:
Congratulations, your visa is approved, your passport will be ready in 2 weeks
My conclusion:
Please be overprepaired, ready to all questions.
Our CO was very nice and looked like very sympathetic to us
We had a lot of proof but didn't need it besides pictures
Good luck to all!
I didn't see anybody was denied except one genteel men, he was there by himself.
We hugged, kissed and said thank you.
It's the one of very happy day in my life.
