Review Topic: K1 Visa

First of all I really would like to thank all of visa journey team and members. The information provided here helped me ALOT.

I will be so pleased to share my K1 visa experience so it can be helpful for other applicants.

I sent the DS-160 confirmation page to the embassy in Riyadh after 9 days they informed me by call and by email about the interview date which was on 01 November 2015.
I went to my appointment at 12:30 pm then I took a number and waited until my turn.
note (it is very important to print out the email u will receive from embassy regarding the interview date)
Then the person asked me for my passport and the printed out email, he took them and told me to have a seat. after that they called me and the same person start asking for the papers and documents:
1-the fee deposit.
2-Birth certificate the original and the copy.
3-Police clearance.
4-Medical report.
5-the I-134 affidavit of support " it is very important to bring the original one not a copy" The petitioner bank statement of deposit, letter of employment, pay stubs and tax return.
6-the proof of relationship. it is better to include the one u sent before.

then that person started asking me questions
1- how did you meet
2- how the relationship started
3- when did u meet.
4- what is ur plan for the wedding
5- when u want to get married
6- when u will travel to US.
7- have u been there before.
8- where is ur fiancé living
9- what is he doing for living
10- how old is he ? how old r u ?
then he took my fingerprints and told me to set down.
then they called me again. another person started it again with the same questions in addition to:
u have been engaged for 3 years why now u decided to get married.
Who attended ur engaged party ?
was your family happy with it ?
who will come to ur wedding !?
when did he start working.
did he come to visit u
how many times u met

when he finished he told me everything with ur application is great but there are 2 issues
you have to bring the original affidavit of support and the 2nd issue we will solve it, we have to make sure that in Florida cousins marriage is legal ( since my fiancé is my first degree cousin).
then he said when u get the paper from ur fiancé send it back to us with ur passport.

This is how my interview went. now am waiting for that paper I didn't know i must have the original one.

if anyone need anything I will be so happy to help them.
