Coming from the west coast - I have to complain that it really does not make sense to have us travelling 10 hours over a two day period for a 1 hour interview. Interview itself went basically like most of the other interview reviews for the Montreal Consulate. If you get there early and line up - you will get through it quickly. Make sure you print every piece of paper that the NVC and Consulate send you. I saw many people who were denied because they didnt have the right paperwork. The officer let me know that if I did participate in the online blogs to stress the importance of telling other IR1 Visa petitioners - domicile and the affidavit of support are the key. If your spouse has a place and a job in the US and is above the poverty guidelines - you wont have a problem.
