I had my interview on October 2 @ 9 am at the Montreal US consulate. I arrive there at 7:30 am, around 7:40 the guards start letting people in @8 am we were send up in the elevator to the 19th floor.
I was given # 6 for immigrant visa . My number was call up up around 8:30 to window 2 where I hand over my original document ( passport, medical, Guyana police clearance and Canadian police clearance, 2 passport pic, married cert, birth certificate and was fingerprinted and was ask to verify some info ) also for my daughter I hand over (passport, medical, birth certificate, 2 pic and custody documents and took another set of fingerprint to her because she is a minor)
I sent back to sit and wait for my number to call again .
At direct 9 my # was called . I went up to a young man who ask to to read the note on the window.

I was then ask
What does your husband do in NY?
Where does he live ?
When did you get married ?
Where did you get married ?
When did you first meet ?
So I see your husband made xxxxxxxx dollars last, is that true .
Is this your first marriage ?
Has your husband ever been married before ?
Does he have any kids ?

My daughter was then ask.

How old are you?
Is this your real mom ?
Who is xxxxxxxx ( my husband) to you?
Does he be mean to you at any time ?
What the name of your father ?
Do you want to go to NY to live with your mom?
Who will support you if you go to NY to live ?
Would you get a job once you go to NY?

He then came to me.
Have you ever been arrested ?
Have you ever been in the U.S. Illegally?
Did you ever had a visa to the U.S.?
Were you ever deny entry to the U.S. ?

He then said I am going to approved your visa and the slide the welcome notice over and said you should receive your visa in about 5 to 7 business days

And I was out by 9:15 am
