Wow, so after all the stress and worry, I finally had my interview and it went swimmingly, with the magic words 'congratulations your visa has been approved' at the end! Please don't worry as much as I did!
I arrived at 645am for my 8am appointment. I was 3rd in line. By 7am there were about 20 people there, and by 730 when they open the doors and start letting you in, there must have been over 100. They split you off into two lines at 730, depending on your appointment time. I was actually through the door first, into the waiting room alone (for about 30 seconds).
You have to watch the big screen, and listen to the VERY annoying PING over and over and over as people get called up for various visas! I think Ive got neck strain now after jerking my head up in anticipation of my number being called.
As I think we all know, there are two steps, one is just handing over paperwork I134, birth certificate, police check, evidence of income, etc. Finger prints taken, all very simple. Then you sit down and wait, and strain your neck again  after about 30-40 mins you get called up again .....
I was really worried about the interview as Ive said, but the lady was very friendly to me. She asked about our relationship, how we met, when we decided what we were going to do this. When did she start her new job, when did she graduate, and from what university. Did I go to the graduation, did i meet her family. Did she have siblings, and which child number was she. When did we intend to get married, when did I intend to enter the country (ASAP!!!!!!) then very quickly said i was approved. I was smiling from ear to ear, and probably very audibly let out the BIGGEST sigh of relief ever!
So, go, don't be too nervous, defiantly pays off to get there early, and not have to sit in the embassy for too long. I was out the door by 9am......then had to wait until 2pm for my bus home!
