Got approved today!

My appointment was at 8:00 so I got to the embassy at around 6:40. There were already 12 people in front of me, but it later turned out I was the first in line for the immigrant visa. At 7:30 they start splitting the lines and checking your docs.

After a security check I was sent to the reception where I was given I901 number!

Exactly at 8:00 windows start opening and numbers are called. I was invited to the fist window at 8:05. The guy was very professional, didn't smile or make any jokes. He asked for the originals of civil documents, pictures, courrer information and then took my fingerprints. After that I went back to the waiting room and waited for about 25-30 minutes for my interview.

The lady interviewing me was beyond nice! She was so smiley and friendly, which made my nerves go away. She made me take an oath and then asked:

1) How did you meet
2) What does he do for a living
3) Does your husband have any siblings?
4) Are they married/have kids?
5) Where was he born?
6) When and why did he and his family move to the UK

I offered to show her pictures and all travel itenaries that I saved, but she said that there was no need for that.

And then we ended up having a friendly conversation about raising kids, etc.
Eventually, she said - everything lookds good to me, you have been APPROVED!
I will get my passport back in approx 10 days.

I was out from the embassy at 8:50!

I am so happy this process is finally over, wishing everyone good luck!
