My interview was on 23rd of july i waited 22 months for the interview date we booked a hotel near to embassy in karol bagh went to embassy by auto my interview timings was at 9.30 but i was in at 9am. Firstly the gaurd asked for two seperate lines for immigrant and non immigrant visa after security check i went inside where an indian girl took my documents like my passport,orignal ppc,2 photos,DS- 260, Copy of birth certificate ,copy of marriage certificate and medical report then she asked me to wait then i went to a line where they took my fingerprits of only left hand asked me a question that who is calling me and issued me a token number then i waited and a indian lady officer called me and returned me my originals and asked me that who is calling me ? what is the name of my husband?Have i paid the fees? then she gave me a pamphlet containing information about rights and protection and asked me to wait for the final interview and around 11.50 am i was called for the final interview at counter 22 an american lady officer with an interpreter was there she said hello to me and i also said hello to her she was nice polite but was speaking fastly then firtly she asked me do i understand english i said no hindi then she asked me to raise my hand and take oath i did then she asked these questions What do you understand by rights and protection pamplet? What is the name of your husband? What is the date of your marriage? How many people attended your wedding where was the wedding?
Did his parents came to the wedding ?Did my parents came to the wedding? How many siblings do i have? did they came to the wedding? When was our engagment? How did we met? Who arranged our wedding?Where does his parents stayed when they came for the wedding ?
What is your husband do for living? Are you cousins? where does he stay in u.s and where you will be staying in u.s?Do you have wedding pics ?

Did you go for honeymoon ?
How many times he visited you after marriage? Is this the first marriage for both of you?
then she gave me two slips one was white and other was yellow the yellow one stated that congratulations your visa has been approved and the white one states the fees i need to pay before going to u.s it was $165. then i said thanku over and over to the officer and to the interpreter as she was also very nice and then i came out had water first my father and sister was waiting outside so as my husband and inlaws icalled my husband and itold him as he was up whole night and it was 3.pm in u.s we waited alot it was a long journey thanks to god and to that officers and now i am waiting for my passport and visa packet desperately. Be confident polite ans take interview in the language you are comfortable i do know english but i took it in hindi because i am not comfortable with american accent but i understood all the questins and gave back the ans expect for 2 lines.The indian staff inside is polite and nice .
TAKE ALL DOCUMENTS ORIGINALS AND COPIES AS WELL THEY MIGHT CHECK ORIGINALS AGAIN AS THEY ASKED FOR ORIGINAL PPC FROM ME WHICH I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED I TOOK ALL THE DOCUMENTS WITH ME WHATEVER I HAD. BEST OF LUCK.
