My husband's interview was July 16th, 2015. I did not attend (his wife). He arrived at 8:00AM for his 9:00AM appointment. The whole ordeal took him a couple hours.

The first man (Tunisian) who took his fingerprints and documents (medical, original birth, original marriage, and original police certificates) was very nice to him, making him comfortable and speaking Arabic with him.

The second man (White American Consular Officer) who conducted his interview was AWFUL. He first asked my husband if he wanted the interview conducted in English or French. My husband said English, but then the Consular Officer proceeded to give the oath in FRENCH >

My husband said the number of questions was low and basic.
MY BEST ADVICE TO YOU:
If you are adopted, make SURE your spouse knows the difference between a legal parent and a birth parent. My husband answered one question about my birth mother when the question was in regards to my legal mother (the CO did not specify).

Due to answering one question "wrong", the CO would not tell my husband if he was approved. The embassy kept his passport and he was not given any slips of paper. He was told he would be called when they were ready. We are still waiting (1 week now)
