The review from 'shipping foecast' below was very helpful.

My interview was also changed from morning to 1pm. I walked past at 11.30am and had a panic when I saw a queue of about 20 people! But I couldn't face the process without caffeine so wolfed down a sandwich & tea at Starbucks on North Audley Street and went back; queue gone! Maybe non-immigrant visas?

Somehow, I ended up being number 11 in the queue.Total about 20 people. Waited about an hour for the first interview. They didn't want any of the paperwork they requested in the checkist - just had me cross something out and tick a different box. Noone asked for the DS260 despite the screen telling us to get that ready. Nor copies of civil docs or tax returns etc. (probably best to take them anyway though)

Waited about another 30 - 40 minutes for the second interview. I was asked

- where is your husband now?
- what do you both do for a living?
- how long have you been married?
- do you have any children?
- why do you want to live in the US?

And that was about it. Lots of fingerprint scanning at both interviews.
