Very pleased with the whole interview experience. My appointment time was originally at 09:30, however, we received an email a couple of weeks ago to say that the time had changed to 13:00. I called up prior to the interview date, to confirm, and the lady was very polite and helpful.

On the day of the interview, I arrived at the Embassy around 12:15. There was a tent outside, where you check in. The girls there told me I was a little early, as security does not open until 12:30, but they checked me in anyway, and told me to wait a little while. Just before 12:30, she instructed me to have my passport checked by the guard, and to pass through the checks. I was first through, and was pleasantly surprised to find that all the security guards were incredibly friendly and smiley, and wished me luck. Upon entry, the receptionist gave me a waiting number, and directed me to the waiting room. The room was filled with people, facing two large screens - one which shows which number they were at, and which window to head to, and the other showed reminders. I sat nervously, waiting for my number to show up on the screen, and right on time, at 13:00 my number showed up and I went to my window. I had expected separate interview rooms, but this set up was more like at a bank tellers.

The gentleman I spoke to was friendly, and it relaxed me a lot. The took the papers that I had to bring along, my photograph, and finger prints, and told me to return back to the waiting area and wait for my number to be called again. Within 5-10 mins, my number was called again, and I proceeded to another window. The lady here was also very friendly. She had a quick look through my paperwork, sworn me in, took my finger prints, and told me that my interview will begin. She asked me when Jay and I got married, how we met, if this was each of our first marriage, what his occupation is, if he has children, and how old they are. She then smiled, and told me that my application has been approved, and the courier will deliver my visa within 2 weeks! I couldn't believe how fast and smooth everything was! My whole process took less than 30 minutes (with 30 mins of waiting time). Good luck to everyone who is undergoing this process.
