Two interviews as expected. First one more difficult than I anticipated (and somewhat does not make sense), second one straight forward. Result: case looks good - under final review, if nothing else will get notice to pick up passport with visa in a week's time (5 working days I believe).
Singaporean officer who reviews documents: (he insisted it was not "the" interview) - questions recalled from memory in no particular order:
> Old passports? Show me old US visas (I was a student and worked in the States before) - so that I can verify you haven't overstayed (?! I thought they are immigration they would have known that already?)
> Might need updated bank statements (from US spouse) (turns out didn't)
> Where did you meet? Any photos before wedding? (We've been living in Singapore together for a while, nothing long distance dated here got married here so didnt bring a lot of proof - luckily husband got a photo in his wallet - did not seem the American officer looked at it even, we just lost it for nothing).
> Do you know how your husband immigrated to the US?
> What is your husband going to do about his job? I said he's asking for a transfer. Officer said we'd need his transfer letter (which might take months!) - American officer later on says nah looks fine, we understand, no need. Though he did ask about it which we did not expect.
I read some reviews that said the singaporean officer is not nice - I would disagree. I thought he was fine, he's not as understanding as the American officer - but he's the document checker not the decision maker so I think they have different job and are thus required to check different things.
American officer:
Pretty much asked nothing. Asked about the job transfer, but in no details and very understanding.
Asked what visa I was on while working in the US (H1B) asked how long. Saw it in my profile on his pc and said right, that's about it.
I had to ask for some original back - they gave me one or two but missed one. Make sure you know what originals you need otherwise they're not responsible!
