Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My interview was scheduled for 9:20am. I took the metro to Cinelandia station and it was such a small walk to the consulate. I got at the immigrant visa line at 8:30am and I was the 4th in line.
At 9am the smiley and friendly Alex checked our names and took us inside.
He gave all the instructions to fill the form. I was the first one to finish and Alex set my papers.
Some minutes later I was called in a cabin to have my fingerprints taken and all the documents asked. The consular assistant asked for my husband and I said he couldn't be there due to work, and he said it's ok.
I went back to wait for my interview. 10min later a man called my name and I got there. First he made me say the jurament about telling only the truth.
He started speaking in Portuguese asking where I met my husband.
I asked if I could speak in English and he said it was ok.
The questions were:
-where did you meet?
-when?
-did you start dating since then?
-who proposed who?
-is he living in Brazil with you?

And then he said "your visa is approved!!! "

I went to the mailing office to pay the fee to have my passport delivered and went back to give the paper.
It was an easy friendly environment and a great positive experience. I left the consulate at 10:20am.
