There is now a new embassy in Kingston. It is nice and Airpak express is right in front of it. It seems like it no longer take walk ups only appointments. There is also no long line anymore. My wifes appointment was at 12:30 and we got there at 12:30 and went straight in. You dont have to join any line. You go up to the door and tell them your interview time. However you will not be able to go in any earlier than 30 minutes before your interview time. I tell you this because we got there at 830 and had to leave and come back at 12:30. After you get in you join one line to go to prescreening which is only to verify you have all your documents. Expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour. Have all of your documents. After section A you go to section B for another preliminary screening where you need to have the Marriage Certificate and Beneficiary's birth certificate. Expect to wait 10 minutes. Then last is section C. Final interview. All interviews are conducted right there in front of you. No privacy. Have alot of pictures, phone bills, and any proof of relationship possible. Ive been married for years and a half so my interview was a breeze but man I we were listening to some serious drilling going on in front of us. These interviewers were tough, with the exception of some nice ones. Expect to wait about an hour or more. Oh, have your spouse come if possible. Study the questions, and lie as little as posssible.
