Here is my experience with London.
My appointment was at 9:00am, I thought that I would go early to get out early, So I arrived at the embassy 07:30am and waited in line, They asked everyone to take out their passport, DS-160 and interview letter, Then we went through security (4 people at a time) Then go round the building to reception where they would stick a number on your interview letter and tell you to take a seat, I was I902, I was a nervous wreck and was sweating like crazy, I could feel the sweat dripping down my neck and chest,They began calling us at 08:00am I was waiting for 5 minutes and got called to window 14, Where i was greeted by a guy called Michael, he was very pleasant and nice, He said that my photo was blurry and that I should go and take another one at the booth and he would wait for me (Photos was £7) I did it and he told me to take a seat and wait.
Then after about 45 minutes I got called to window 15, I was greeted by a man, He didn't look too keen at first and had a serious face.
Here is the exact convo we had:
Him:...
Me: Morning.
Him.... *Flips through papers* So you wanna marry J?
Me: Yes I do.
Him: How did you meet J?
Me: He commented on my videos on YouTube and then we added each other on facebook and here we are.
Him: When did you first meet J?
Me: I flew to DFW on May 18th 2013.
Him: Why hasn't J flown to see you?
Me: He doesn't like flying, He's really scared of it.
Him: But he has to fly to CA to marry you, Right?
Me: Yes, We have booked flight for that and 3 and a half hours from DFW to CA is nothing compared to 11 hours of flying to the UK.
Him: *Looks at me in disbelief* tut tut.
Me: *Looks at him*
Him: *smiles* Congratulations, You're visa is approved and you should receive your passport back within a week.
Me: Thank you so much, Take care!
And that was it, I walked out and got the train home.
