Arrived at the embassy at 7:30am for my 8:00am appointment, there was already a line forming for those with appointments after 8:00am. Security was quick and easy although they were the least friendly people in the whole building.
You can now bring phones and smaller electronic devices into the embassy although I did not do much except wait for my number to be called. The first window was a simple document check where I handed over my passport and photos and a very polite lady checked I should not have any other records.
After sitting down for about 15 minutes I was called to another window for my interview. The guy was locked out of his computer and then had to see what to do as I already had more than one passport. After a minute things were up and running and he asked 2 questions about my wife's work and I was told I was approved.
I was out of the building and on my way home just after 9:00am.
