The entire Process took quite a while because of the long queue, but it went pretty smoothly.
Got to the embassy via the shuttle service, where I first got in line for the biometric data collection, and then in line to submit the medical and my passport.
Then, after paying the visa fees to the cashier, I was eventually called for my interview. (It was a very long wait to get to this point)
Interview went quickly and smoothly. After my oath to tell the truth, I was asked a few basic questions about how I met my fiancé, and what he does etc. Then a few questions about myself and my period of stay in Canada, as well as my career (more out of interest on the interviewer’s part, than any relevance to the visa)
He never asked to see any documents or anything, in fact he told me to “put my papers away, as everything was good"
After this he gave me back my pictures (which my fiancé had submitted back at the i-129F stage) and birth certificate. And handed me the sheet pertaining to my rights in the United States.
And that was pretty much it! Told me it would take about 10 days for the passport to be returned to me via courier, and that was that.
I was, needless to stay, ecstatic, and it was all over my face. I thanked him profusely and left :D
