1. Be there at the embassy early (our appointment was at 6:45 am and we got there at 5:15am and we were close to the door. They seperated the lines by visas and then you go through metal detectors. (dont listen to the people in the yellow shirts telling you what u cant bring in. They say watches are not allowed and the ones that dont work. My husband didnt listen to me and let them hold his watch and he had to pay 200 pesos when we came out. I was like im not from your country and I know more than you.)
After you get in you sit on a bench and wait to go in and then once you get in you get a number and wait to be called.
2. Have ready Marriage cert, birth certificate, passport, cita letter and buena conducta paper
3. When you see them staple a green ticket u know ur gonna be approved.
4 Then you go to have finger prints taken
5 Wait for your number again and get interviewed
6 After approved Pay domenex 11 dollars

To my husband:

2. How do you communicate? Whatsapp and phone calls
3. Who paid for the wedding?
4. Did you ever have problems with police?

To me:
1. How did I learn spanish?
2. Did you ever have a dominican boyfriend before?
3.Questions about other travel I had outside us
4. Why didn't I ask for my daughters father instead to get him papers
5. Where I work
6. How much I make a year?
And asked to see Pics

My husband answered puerto plata lol I said thats my question. The man said yes I asked her. lol
