What a great day for an interview. Yesterday it poured rain but today is beautiful. I arrived at 9:15 for my 10:00 appointnebt and waited 2 minutes at the door, went in, was asked for my Loomis form and Interview letter and passport pictures and passport. There were 2 people behind me by then and I heard the gal at the door asking the first one for his Loomis forms -which he didn't have so he left to get them I guess. The next gal didn't have passport pictures so she then left to get them... hehe someone didn't read VJ!! *smirk*

I put my folder and watch through the scanner and walked through the body scanner, then was directed downstairs to the elevator.
Two others were in the elevator along with me on the ride to the 19th floor and neither knew the door would open at the back

The first call to a window was in less than 5 minutes, where they asked for my 2013 tax forms - I gave them the 3 newly completed AOS packages but she only took the taxes and returned the forms to me. She took my passport pictures & passport, and medical results and then I did the fingerprinting. She requested the death certificate from my common-law spouse and a copy. She returned the Loomis and Interview letter and medical results that I brought (they had received some of it directly from my physician and acknowledged their receipt when I inquired about them, but didn't give those to me).

I was instructed to sit down again and read the papers about domestic abuse while waiting for the next call. oh, and I had number 6 which is astrologically my lucky number

Less than 5 minutes again and I was called back up, where I had to do just my left hand on the fingerprint machine for confirmation I guess, and answered a few basic questions, more in a chat style than an inquisition. Is this your first marriage, same for my husband, do you have children, what is my address and phone number, what is my husband's address and phone number, what do we do for employment, who is ***** (my husband's sister who filled out an AOS), what does she do, is ****** my mother's name, is ****** my father's name.
She returned the original birth certificate, death certificate and wedding certificate.
She never asked for the DS260 confirmation page or anything else that I brought in my huge folder! I offered, lol, but she laughed and just said it was good I was prepared, but she didn't need anything else.

She then stated that we were done and I'd receive my visa in 1-1&1/2 weeks, and that more of my documents will arrive in an envelope that I take to the POE. I thanked her graciously and left with a huge smile thanking everyone that worked there on the way out
I still wear a perma-grin and notified my family/friends by email, and will now hit up Montreal's sights!
I was out in less than a half hour.
