Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had our interview at the El Paso Field OFfice on June 18th. We got there 20 mins before and went into the building without any issues. We were told to wait in a room where there was another couple and other people. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we were called in, and so was the other couple, we got different IO's. The IO's name was E. Ochoa. She led us to her office and before we sat down, she made us swear we'd tell the truth. After that, we sat down, she asked for our ID's, my EAD and documentation I used to last entered the US. She took a look at the documents and then proceeded with the questions to my husband, the US citizen. She asked for his name, address, DOB, place of birth, where did we get married, if he had any kids or had been married before. Then she proceeded to ask me the same questions, and the "No" questions from the I-485, she also asked when I had entered the US last and if I had ever been deported or had issues with the law or immigration and if I had lived in the US before. The only question she asked concerning our actual relationship as a married couple was if anybody else lived with us in the apartment. Other than that she said she had looked at all the documents and proof of bona fide marriage we had filed and said she wouldn't ask for any more proof from us since she though it was enough (we also had a 3" binder with us with more proof and with the necessary documents). At this point, I thought we were doing well in the interview until she mentioned she had to complete a security check later that day and that she would be making the decision on the same day and we would find out her final decision by mail.
She asked me what name I'd like have on the green card, married name or maiden name) and also asked us a couple of times if we had any problems at all getting mail at our apartment. She mentioned in a few days I could be getting the welcome letter or the green card and handed us the Notice of Interview Results which states the case is being held for review.
The officer was nice and very professional at all times, we were just hoping for an approval on the spot. I was also very surprised that she didn't ask us for any further proof or even asked more questions about our relationship.
At the time we left her office, the other couple was also leaving the office with their IO's, which kind of makes me wonder if they just have an X amount of time per interview.
We were hoping to find out on the same day since she said she'd make her decision later that day but it did not happen.
Over all it was a good relaxed experienced but hate having to wait for a decision.
