Review Topic: K1 Visa

Elena & I got there at the embassy around 5am. We rented chairs for Php30.00 each, of course the vendors kept selling us stuff haha! It was an exciting experience and I am so glad most of our sissies here were there and so approachable! While waiting for the guards to call us to line-up, a USEM employee (big guy) started shouting. "We will not honor that line, we never told you to rent chairs! You all should be here 15 minutes prior to your appointment!" So scene 1 LOL!

Here goes:
6:45am - K1 applicants started falling in line
7:00am - security check/queue numbers were given
7:30 onwards - waited for our numbers to be called, Elena was holding 6216 mine was 6214

Step 1: American consul: Name, birth date, finger scanning

Step 2:
After a few: Filipino consul asked me for my:
Name
Birthdate
How we met

And gathered my:
NBI
BIRTH CERTIFICATE
CENOMAR
(All original)
W2
Paystubs
1040
i134

We have a co-sponsor, he told me "we really do not accept co-sponsors for K1 applicants, but they will be the one to decide, good luck!"

Ay sir, thank for discouraging me.. So I started getting worried again. Kept praying.

Step 3: AMERICAN CONSUL
Oath taking
Finger prints
What's the name of your fiancee?
How did you meet? Thru Skout, i explained how and he asked why hehe
What did he first say? Why do you think he asked that?
What's his mother's name
What does he do for a living?
Who is (name of my F's ex) ?
Who is Salazar? I told him that's the baby of his ex-wife, they declared him on the tax form but made an error, but I really don't know anything about tax sir.
Who is your co-sponsor?
Who is Sophia? My daughter
Where's Sophia? I said at home sleeping LOL!
How did he propose?
Is he a left handed or right handed?
And he asked again: what does he do for work?
What do you do for work?
What are you going to do when you get there?

He made me explain and he listened intently. But then he said after the last question:

OK, I am approving this, and I said wow thank you thank you! So am I approved? He said yes you are approved and I thanked him again and took off before he changes his mind!

I placed all my stuff like chat logs, album & paperworks infront of him but the consul never asked or checked my stuff, I was even trying to show him our first conversation.

Elena's interview was under 3 minutes and the consul didn't look at her stuff too!

Elena and I were able to leave the USEM, 5 minutes before 12pm.

Thank you again for all the help, all those pointers even if its just "relax", helped alot! And for praying with me, thank you so much & stay blessed!

To God be the glory!
