Travelled to London the day before my interview as my appointment was for 8am. Stayed in Kensington HIgh St, which would have been so handy had the trains and underground not decided to strike from 9 pm the day I arrived until the day AFTER my interview!! Just my luck! However I booked a cab to pick me up at 7am and I was at the embassy at 7 10 am and only about 10 others in the queue. Had to go through airport style security 4 people at a time. My ticket no. was I903 and was called within about 10 mins to window 13 where a lovely young American asked me for my original certificates, birth, marriage, etc and also for copies. Had my fingerprints taken and then told to take a seat and would be called for my interview later. 5 mins later my number popped up again on the large screen at the front of the waiting room, I has to go to window 15. The lady there was quite pleasant but not as chatty as the first one, obviously she has to be formal. Has to take the oath, fingerprints taken again, asked a couple of questions, How long I had known my husband, Where was I going to live in the US and that was it. APPROVED! A really good experience, no need for all the sleepless nights I had beforehand.
