Interview was set for 930. We arrived at around 840 and didnt think we would get let in but got in line anyway. They let us in without a problem.

Going through security we had some issues because I had a flash drive in my purse which I had forgotten about and we had 2 greeting cards that sing when u open them as part of our evidence. I had to walk back outside and give them to the guards to hold then went back through and caught up with my husband.

We were given a number and we went in to wait. We were called up to a window where an Indian lady basically just wanted our documents (PCC, Medical, I-864, birth cert, etc) the consular asked me what i do for work and also asked my husband. Only questions she asked us were about our documents and she gave us the 221(g) to submit the PCC which we knew would happen. She told us to sit and we would be called up again.

We were called to a different window a few minutes later and a male consular was there. He looked through our case a bit and asked me if I had children and how many. He then asked my husband why he seemed unaware of my children before when his colleague spoke to my husband on the phone. He asked how we met. I told him myspace and my husband gave the details. He asked me how many times I have come to India and where I stayed the last time I came. They asked why we got married twice and asked to see wedding pictures. He asked why his family didnt attend our first wedding and if any of my family came to either wedding and why. We had a wedding album and since it was too big to fit under the window we held it up and went through several pages. He asked us to point out his parents, which we did.

He said that all we need to do is submit the PCC and the visa will be issued and I asked him so we are approved otherwise and he said yes.

Overall experience was good, everyone was polite. Several times I was asked by guards if I wanted US Citizen services and I told them know I was with my husband. We were in and out of the Embassy in about 2 hours.

Got called back to the Embassy a little over 2 weeks after our interview, but not told why. We went back and again no problem, I went in with him. When we got our number and went to wait, one of the ladies that helps usher people to the right place, saw our number and said "ohh they messed up your fingerprints too". There were several people like us who were there but didnt know why.
Got called up to the first window with the same Indian lady that did our intake last time. She went to get our case file but couldnt find it. She came back to the window with someone else and they were talking in Hindi but my husband said they were saying that they lost our case file. She told us to sit back down and she would call us back. She called us back up a few minutes later and went through our file again double checking everything. Asked my husband what he did for work and told us to sit down and wait to be called up again.
I dont know how long we waited but it seemed like a long time. Got called up and the man who interview us before was at that window. He apologized for making us come back and explained that they had technical difficulties with the fingerprinting so he took my husbands fingerprints again. He asked us when we planned to travel and said that we should be able to pick up the visa on Monday or Tuesday so we had plenty of time. He gave my husband a yellow paper that says "Congratulations, your visa has been issued".
We were in and out of the embassy in about an hour and a half this time.
Again everyone was very nice, of course my opinion may be partial since my husbands visa was issued. javascript:emoticon('')
