We arrive in Santo Domingo the night before the interview, we stayed on Jardines del Teatro as recommended on this site very friendly staff and room are clean and inexpensive. Woke up at 4:30am, arrived at consulate at 5:15am there was a line of about 40 people already no bucones thank God. Around 6:15am the line started to move, in the building by 6:50am. we were called to the first window 24 by 7:10am, were told that we needed to fix our DS260 since it did not show my husband middle name (system error, since I had a print out of my submission) the very nice lady told us to go out to an internet center and fix it and comeback to window 16. We walk to a center around the corner and had a little problem login into my husband case, immigration system was not recognizing server. We solved the problem and paid RD 400.00 pesos. Went back to the consulate and enter with no problem, at window 16 a Stuck up lady was trying to give us a hard time until the previous lady came and told her that she told us to come to that window. She verified our correction online and told us to sit until called. about 20 minutes later we were called to window 15 for finger printing.
