Feels like a lifetime ago, but was very straight forward. The only hiccup was when the interviewing consular asked for my original birth certificate. Although I was born in France, the only one I was ever told I needed was the Registration of a Birth Abroad certificate, which establishes my UK citizenship. Told the consular I've never had one to my knowledge. He goes away, comes back and says that's fine. Was fun for my fiance, who accompanied me, to have an American soda and candy from the snack machine for the first time in several months!
