My interview went very smooth... I arrived at the embassy around 04:15H; I was 5th in the line. We were ushered to go inside at around 06:35H
A girl from 2Go was getting our appointment letter and our passport. She gave it back to me with a zip lock. My number was #6123 & was ask to drop the confirmation letter & DS160 to window 39. When I ask the filipino lady who gave me the number about the instruction on my email from the embassy that I should proceed to window 38 as my date of appointment was waived; she responded sarcastically "just listen to the instruction." I thought ***wtf I was just asking. Anyway I choose to ignore here and proceeded to the interview waiting area and a nice filipino lady (with 2Go ID) ask for our documents as she will be the one to forward to window 39; I ask her about my email instruction; she said; it's fine sir window 38 & 39 are the same. So we waited.
At 09:15H my number was flashed and I was asked to do my finger scan. Then I was seated again; 10:20H my number was flashed again for preliminary screening. A filipino lady asks for my forms: Birth Certificate, NBI, CENOMAR, Affidavit of Support, Form 1040 and W2. Then she ask me: who is petitioning me; where did we met; where does he live; how many times he had come to visit & ask for some photos... after 5 minutes; I was seated again...
At 11:38H, window 62 flashed my number. A very nice american consul greeted me good noon and & I responded back. He asks me to raise my right hand and recite the oath posted infront of the both. I was about to start the next paragraph; he told me it was fine (I was reading fast as I could); then he asks me these questions:
a. Who is petitioning me?
b. Where did we meet?
c. When & where is the wedding?
Then the consul hand me this brochure about domestic violence and said "I am bound by the law to hand you that; in case you experience domestic violence when you are in the United States, you are required to inform us and it will not affect the status of your immigration". Then he asked me to be seated and wait until my number is called. I thank him and also asked if I was approved; he responded "Yes" congratulations!
It was around 13:15H when my name was called & a filipino lady asked me about the my BPI receipt; as it look different. I told her that I paid online with BPI as I have an online account with them. She said okay. Then I proceeded to 2Go window to drop my delivery address for my visa.
