I don't have a ton of things to say as far as in-depth details, but I will say that if you follow all of the advice on this website, then things will go very well.
We followed everything in great detail for the original I-129 and got approved extremely quickly. We followed all of the advice about getting the NVC number and going ahead with getting all the documents together, along with setting up the medical exam and interview and it worked just as was explained to us.
Some of the keys to the medical and interview were to obviously make sure you have everything prepared ahead of time, but also, when she went to both, she showed up very early. She was in line at 2 am for the medical exam, and as a result, she flew through it in less than a day. It often takes people two days to get it done. And she showed up at 4 am for her 6:30 am interview, and even though she was still pretty far back in the line at even that hour, she still got done in about 3 hours. The questions that they had for her were fairly basic, and the people were very nice to her.
So overall, the experience was far better than we could have ever asked. We give much credit to the power of prayer, having amazing people on this site that were very helpful, and just being very pro-active in making sure we had all of our bases covered.
