Citizenship Journey from Albany New York.
My name is Junior KK. I have applied for US Citizenship on 03/ 01 2013. My current location is Albany New York. This is my N-400 Application for Naturalization.
1. On 03/ 01 2013. I sent Completed application N_400 for Naturalization Certificate to NBC office along with supporting document. For example (N-400, Fee waiver I-912, 2 pics and Copy of Alien Card both Sides).
2. On 03/ 13/ 2013. I received notice of action Stating “ Application has been received and process”
3.03/28/2013.I received notice for Biometric, scheduled for April 24 at 10:30am.
4.On 04/24/2013. My All 10 finger print were taken in office, and biometric notice were stamped and signed by finger print technician. Finger print process took me around 35 minutes.
5.On 06/03/2013. I have received an Interview scheduled for 7/08/2013 here at the local office.
6.On 06/28/2013. I received another letter stating that “Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel your interview”.
7.On 08/27/2013. Exactly two months later, I sent request to local office to reschedule my N-400 Interview.
8.On 09/25/2013. I have received Interview letter, interview scheduled for 10/17/2013 at 8:15 am.
9. On 10/17/2013. I had interview here at the local District office, during the interview just few simple question of history, civic, give two sentences to read and one sentence to writes. Entire interview took me around 12 minutes. At the end, the officer congratulated me, and give me form N-652 interview result, on the form he marked two boxes In the first box stating “You have pass civic, history , English reading and writing, and 2nd box stating “Decisions not yet made on your application”.
On 10.10/28/2013. I received N-445 Oath Ceremony, Oath is scheduled for 11/21/2013 at Albany on 8:15 am and the questions on the back must be duly filled.
Overall experience was good. Except when the cis cancelled my interview. I worried, and panic. But thanks to ALMIGHTY LORD that's everything turnout to be excellent.
