I'm a couple months behind on this review, but I was approved for my visa back in August!
I'd say the whole thing went very well. Parking in Vancouver is expensive, I was living in Langley at the time so I drove into the city. Avoid parking if you can! Take public transit! But make sure you have lots of time to spare. Security is a lot like an airport. The people were kind (for the most part) and helpful if you weren't sure where to go or what to do. I filled out a form wrong and my worst fears crept up, but the lady took me to a computer in the back and let me fix my error and print out a new form! The interview is a breeze if you know your stuff, which you should! It's just questions about you, your life, and your fiancee, how you met, etc. All pretty easy stuff. The waiting can be boring, especially since you can't bring in your electronics, but it's worth the wait!
