My husband had his in-person interview at the Mumbai Embassy on March 22,2013. After the interview was completed he wa told that he case has been put under Administrative Processing. Since then we have not received any update from the Embassy nor any government office. I have tried to contact the local government officials here in the US, but they are no hope.
So just a warning to those interviewing at the Mumbai Embassy: they are very strict and I have heard that they tend to put 40% of the cases under Administrative Processing.
