My interview was scheduled for 9 o clock, Friday morning. Taking advice from previous reviews, I arrived early (around 7.15 after dropping phone at Goulds). There were around 10 people there, but no sort of queue. I asked and got told to queue up in the middle of the bollards, rather than close to the little visa building as they erect a tent to check people's documents and get into a 2nd line. Ended up being 3rd in line. Got into the waiting area after getting ticket number. Sat for around 15 mins then called to window 13. Met a polite and efficient American guy who took documents and finger prints. (CRC, Birth cert, I-134, Turbo tax form. He didn't ask for any sort of evidence aside fromthose forms. Got sent to sit back down. Around half an hour later I got called up to speak to the rather VJ famous African American lady. She asked how we met and I ended up waffling on about our whole relationship while she took notes. She checked a couple of dates, made a joke or two, then told me my visa was approved. WOOOO!! She then explained the usual things about couriers and envelopes. I was going to tell her she was an internet celebrity but I bottled it.... I'll leave that to someone else.
All in all, it was a very easy experience and I was in and out within about 1 1/2 hours! Advice - get there early and queue up towards the middle, saved me a huge amount of time.
