Had my interview on Fri 25 Oct. Arrived 7.10 am in the dark and drizzle. All went as others have reported: queue up and have passport/interview letter checked against their schedule, passport scrutinised by big security guy, enter the security room, belongings x-rayed, body scan, then out again and walk round building to Embassy entrance. Given ticket number at reception. Wait in big hall. Called to window 1 with Chinese-American woman, friendly though hard to hear/understand with noise in the hall, who checked my paperwork, took fingerprints, photos, passport. Sat down again and then called to Window 16 with pleasant African-American woman who returned our original documents which had been submitted to NVC, asked how we'd met and when, when we'd got married, where my husband's sons lived in the USA and that was it. Visa approved!! After all the months of worry, obsessing over the paperwork etc it almost seemed like an anti-climax. Altogether I was there 1.5 hours and not more than 10 mins was spent talking to them. So, so happy. That journey is over and a new one begins - together this time!!
